So this is something special I’m going to do for every album release. Very limited to 25 this time, never to be made again. Also because of lack of touring, this will also help a ton to "keep the lights on" while we wait out this COVID situation.
So, when we first recorded our latest album, Transitional Forms I kept every guitar pick I used to record guitars and bass for the album, labeled each one and which track it was used for. There ended up being 25 in total. I decided to make a merch pack for everything. Each pick included is the one that was actually used on the song/or songs mentioned on the album and will be in a special container for it.
The artwork is based on the track “The Gray”. That track for me from Laurens lyrics meant a ton and helped me a ton in life, so I based this pack off it. It also uses a fun gold and grey luster ink I’ve never seen before for the designs. Each pack includes a signed pick that was used on the album (in a protective case made for guitar picks), a hand written thank you note (in protective plastic for transport), a short sleeve and long sleeve shirt, signed laminate, mask, a vinyl and CD. There are also 4 of the super limited first edition vinyls in the blended color and 10 of the clear type that are all sold out previously from our Label. These will be thrown in randomly to lucky people who order this. The rest are the half and half style that are left from the first edition print.
Lastly included, are the canvas picture frames. Those were very tricky because no one actually makes them. So I had to have my good friend Mike from ML Screen Printing send me the canvas with the special ink printed on them. From there I had to buy the frames for them all, then my dad and myself hand stretched and stapled them all to the frame by hand. This took weeks and a huge amount of time to complete. I’ve also numbered those by hand and signed them all. This will be on our website Friday October 16th 2020 for purchase. There will also be for sale a black and purple short sleeve shirt on the site and black and purple mask that will be available as well.
Thank you for all the support regardless, this merch pack really will help us keep the lights on and hold us over for a while. This lack of touring is really putting a strain on funds for us.
To anyone who bought the album and even took the time to listening, thank you so much. You all have saved my life hundreds of times over and over. Keep an eye out in the future for some other things we will have going on in the next couple months.
